This park is probably the most historically significant place in my life. Lots of things have happened here. I got run over by a sled when I was little. I broke up with a boyfriend here. 7-year friendships ended in this park. I used to take my dog here. I'd come to sit and do nothing instead of practicing running like I was supposed to. I still go to this park! It's literally right across from my parents' house, and I can see it from my bedroom window. And this tree, I loved this tree, it was my favorite tree in the park. I don't know if having a favorite tree in a park is normal, but I had one. I made this piece for a two-point perspective assignment, and honestly, it wasn't supposed to be very sentimental, just something to share the park across from my house. But I'm so glad I did, because I came home last April and found out they cut this tree down.
