Hello!

Hopefully you have been perusing around my website enough to have read some of my many long drawn out anecdotes that accompany my art to get to know me better, but if not I'll happily give you a quick summary:

I am a multidisciplinary artist currently pursuing my Bachelors of Fine Art at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. My mediums of choice are painting, drawing, printmaking, and soft sculpture. I have prior experience as a local art teacher in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, and my side career is my work as a cosmetologist.

I place much emphasis on creating a narrative for my work that is accessible yet thoughtful, addressing complex topics such as class, labor, gender, trauma and identity through the lens of my own personal experience. Much of my work could be considered "Kitsch-y", as it's garish and sentimental but that's not a source of shame for me. In fact I like to embrace that label and use it to push the notion of kitsch and it's value as fine art as far as it can go.

If you'd like a quick sample of the most exemplary pieces of my artistic intention, please refer to The Fundamental Works on the home page of my website.

Much love, thank you for visiting, and have fun looking through my website!
